Terms of Service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of RelayDev, operated by [Legal entity name] ("RelayDev", "we"). By creating an account or using RelayDev you agree to them. The Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
1. The service
RelayDev turns a kanban board into work for AI agents. You describe a task. An agent built on Anthropic's Claude models works on it, either in a cloud sandbox or on your own computer through the desktop app. The result arrives as a pull request on your GitHub repository, which you review and merge.
The companies that provide parts of the service are listed at Subprocessors.
2. Accounts
- You must be able to enter a binding contract, and if you sign up for an organisation, be authorised to act for it.
- Keep your password, sessions and Agent API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Your content and code
- You keep all rights in your code, task descriptions, test definitions and other material you put into RelayDev ("Customer Content").
- You give us the right to host, copy, process and transmit Customer Content only to provide RelayDev to you. That includes sending it to the subprocessors listed at Subprocessors.
- We do not sell Customer Content, and we do not use it to train AI models.
- You are responsible for having the rights you need to upload Customer Content. Do not put payment card data, health records or other sensitive personal data into RelayDev unless we have agreed to it in writing.
4. Agent output and review
- Agent output can be wrong, insecure or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing each change before you merge it. RelayDev merges a pull request only when you click Accept & Merge.
- Test results show what was run, not that the code is correct. You are responsible for your use of the output, including whether it complies with the licences of any third-party code it contains.
5. Third-party services
GitHub, Anthropic, Vercel, Supabase and Stripe provide parts of the service under their own terms. Your GitHub account, your Anthropic API key and the usage charges on it are governed by those providers' terms. Model tokens used with your own API key are billed by Anthropic, not by RelayDev.
6. Plans, trials and payment
- New accounts start with a 14-day trial of the Solo plan, with limited cloud hours. When it ends, new runs stop until you choose a paid plan; your data stays.
- Paid plans are priced on the pricing page and billed in advance through Stripe, monthly unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude any taxes that apply.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are not refundable once a billing period has started.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use RelayDev, or the sandboxes it runs, to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- create or distribute malware, or attack, scan or test systems you do not own or have permission to test;
- mine cryptocurrency or send spam;
- get around RelayDev's security, sandbox isolation or network restrictions;
- access another customer's data or accounts.
We may suspend access that breaks this section, and we will tell you why as soon as we reasonably can.
8. Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's non-public business information confidential and uses it only to perform these terms. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the receiving party, or that the law requires to be disclosed.
9. Data protection and security
We protect Customer Content as described in the Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy Policy. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorisation.
10. Availability
We work to keep RelayDev available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not offer an uptime commitment unless we agree one in writing.
11. Ending the agreement
- You can stop using RelayDev at any time. To delete your account, use Settings → Delete account, or ask us by email. Either way, deletion is as set out in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or end access if you do not pay, or if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 30 days of our notice.
- When an account ends, we delete Customer Content as set out in the Data Processing Agreement, except where the law requires us to keep it.
- Sections 3, 8, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, RelayDev is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that agent output will be correct, secure or fit for a particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Each party's total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email the account owner at least 30 days before they take effect. Your sign-up records the version of the terms you accepted. If you keep using RelayDev after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of [governing law and courts]. The legal entity is [Legal entity name], [Registered address]. You can contact us at [contact email].
